Shed rebuild General description
There are only so many wardrobes that one can
reasonably put on a website like this (and believe me there are
lots that I have made) so here is a small
and vaguely interesting diversion....
The
existing shed was very old and tired with many of the
timbers completely rotten. The task was to completely
rebuild the shed. Paintings by the children on the old shed
were to be preserved and mounted on the new shed.
Above an internal view showing the windows, before and
after. Below external 3/4 views before and after.
The old shed was measured and photographed. It was then
completely dismantled leaving only the dwarf wall and
beautiful stone slabs on the floor. The
shed was then rebuilt from scratch albeit with new
materials.
The only part of the new shed that is original is the
door. That was stripped right down and treated with
Cuprinol before painting. The original handle and locks have also
been reused.
