Bedroom furniture

General description

The request was for a headboard and two bedside cupboards to exactly match in colour and style existing furniture in one of the spare bedrooms.  The wood was to be American Cherry , stained to match other pieces in the room.

Photo 4&5: The pair of cupboards sitting on  my bench in the workshop..  Now then I hear you say, "how did you find a drawer pull that was also in cherry?"  The answer is that I  found a pull that was roughly the same style as those elsewhere in the bedroom  then; I removed the front of it , glued a piece of cherry onto the pull and turned it up in the lathe.
